We recommend that you take a moment to register for an account on the new home page. This will auto-fill your information on the registration page and allow you to cancel your own reservation.
Note: You may also register for a match without creating an account if you wish - but you won't able to cancel your own reservation.
We offer 1 regular IDPA Match per month - on the 4th Saturday. We'll be running 6 stages at each match. May thru September Classifiers are run at the beginning of the Tuesday practice session that is before a match weekend.
NOTE: Our matches fill up before match day. If you schedule, please show up. If you cannot make it, BE SURE TO CANCEL (at least 24 hours before the start of the match). Understand that you are taking a slot that others would be able to use. Also, if you are a 'no-show' twice, we will NO LONGER take match reservations for you. IDPA is a lot of fun and we want as many as possible to be able to participate in each match.
Each match will cost $20 for each class you shoot - Classifers are also now $15. You are allowed to shoot one match w/o being a member of the IDPA but after that, if you intend to participate, you'll need to send $30 to IDPA to become a member for one year. We use the Pistol Range and Action Pistol Range for these matches.
We hope to get a minimum of 5 shooters thru each Stage in 1/2 hour. Running 2 stages simultaneously, that will mean 20 shooters per hour. The matches will start at 10 AM and run till 4-5 PM. There will be a lunch break for the Match Organizers and SOs.
We WILL need volunteers to run these events - probably 4-6 persons, minimum. We need Safety Officers, Scorekeepers, someone to fill out the sign-up sheets, help set up the stages, take money from the participants for the match, taking IDPA membership forms, and entering the scores into the computer. We may also need volunteers to sell water/pop/snacks, etc.
We run matches throughout the year - including during the winter.
NOTE: Matches will be run on a COLD Range - please don't forget that.
Prizes for Match Winners will be Ribbons (or, in the case of special matches, Trophies) - no cash prizes.
